Solo mode and bands

Every account starts in Solo mode — a personal song library and setlists, private to you. If you play in a covers band, or more than one project, you can create a band instead: a shared library and setlists that everyone in it can use.

Switching between them, in Settings under the Band tab, changes which library and setlists you're working with everywhere else in the app — Songs, the setlist builder, and both AI song flows.

Solo mode

The default. Your song library, your setlists, and your own settings — a personal buffer time default and an optional "about me" blurb the AI uses when building or reordering your setlists. Nothing here is visible to anyone else.

Creating a band

Bands are a paid-plan feature — see pricing for current plans. To create one, go to Settings → Band and give it a name. You become its admin automatically.

Inviting bandmates

Every band has its own invite link, shown on the Band tab. Share it with your bandmates — opening it joins them to the band, with access to its shared library and setlists.

Switching between Solo and your bands

If you belong to one or more bands, Settings → Band shows a row of buttons — Solo, plus one for each band you're in. Whichever is active is the context the rest of the app uses: the songs you see and add, the setlists you build, and the AI song suggester are all scoped to it. Band libraries and your personal library are never mixed — and if you belong to more than one band, one band's songs never mix with another's either.

Admins and members

Every band member has a role:

Admin — can edit the band's shared default buffer time and its "about this band" AI context. Whoever creates a band starts as its admin.
Member — can see the band's shared settings, but not change them. Everyone can add songs, build setlists, and use both AI flows within the band.

Anyone can leave a band at any time from Settings → Band — you'll drop back to seeing only your Solo library and whichever other bands you're still in.
